Having been inducted into the Vocal Hall of Fame in 2006, the band also have their own star on Hollywood Boulevard, recognizing them as an important contributor to the musical arts. Their 2006 album Here & Now saw the band collaborate with a new generation of artists including Ryan Adams, Ben Kweller, and Jim James among others.

An enigmatic figure, he is known for not taking interviews in character, but has performed at various festivals in both the USA (Adult Swim's Aqua Teen Hunger Force's tour in 2010) and at countless worldwide comedy festivals, including the renowned Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Esoteric, unique, and highly influential singer-songwriter Jonathan Richman is heading on tour this year accompanied by Tommy Larkins! Offering fans the chance to get a glimpse of this "wide-eyed" and low-key genius, Richman has been active since the late '60s. He followed his love of The Velvet Underground all the way to New York City before forming the proto-punk band Modern Lovers. Solo since '75, his oeuvre is beloved for its honesty and whimsical lyrics, winning him fans throughout his five decades in the biz.
