A Hamlet Tale

Cincinnati Shakespeare Company present a world premiere of a new tale based on Shakespeare's Hamlet. Retelling the famous story through the eyes of Ophelia and Gertrude, the play is written by multi-award winner Lauren Gunderson and centers the strength and complex challenges faced by these women as the courts of Denmark crumble around them.

Produced in collaborations with Washington D.C.'s Folger Shakespeare Library, following on from its run in Cincinnati the play will transfer to Washington, in Cincinnati Shakespeare Company's first ever foray into D.C.. Be one of the first to witness this groundbreaking new play!
