Cincinnati Shakespeare Company present a world premiere of a new tale based on Shakespeare's Hamlet. Retelling the famous story through the eyes of Ophelia and Gertrude, the play is written by multi-award winner Lauren Gunderson and centers the strength and complex challenges faced by these women as the courts of Denmark crumble around them.

The famed Shakespearean tragedy Macbeth graces the Cincinnati stage, courtesy of a contemporary take from director Christopher V. Edwards for the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company. Since Macbeth's first staging in 1606, the play has been performed many times including throughout the 18th and 19th centuries. The story has also been told throughout modern times via theater and film as well as inspiring literature and music, making it one of the most enduring and influential works of all time.
